The Incarnation:  God’s plan to save sinful man.  Jesus, Who is fully God, took on the flesh of man without giving up any of His godliness in order that He might come and save those who are lost. 

 

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

  2     He was in the beginning with God.

  3 All things came into being by Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.

  4     In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

   5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, and you shall bruise him on the heel.

Deuteronomy 18:15 “The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your countrymen, you shall listen to him.
