Scripture related to the Holy Spirit ¾ Faith and Repentance

 John 3:8, The wind (referencing the Holy Spirit) blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.

 Hebrews 11:6, And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

 Ephesians 2:8, For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;

  9 not as a result of works, that no one should boast.

 Mark 9:23, And Jesus said to him, “‘If You can!’ All things are possible to him who believes.”

 Hebrews 11:1, Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

 1 John 5:9, If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for the witness of God is this, that He has borne witness concerning His Son.

 John 16:8, “And He (the Holy Spirit), when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin, and righteousness, and judgment;

  9 concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me;

10 and concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you no longer behold Me;

11 and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.

 Acts 2:38, And Peter said to them, “Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

 Acts 2:40-41, And with many other words he solemnly testified and kept on exhorting them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation!” So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and there were added that day about three thousand souls.

 Matthew 21:28, “But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, ‘Son, go work today in the vineyard.’

29 “And he answered and said, ‘I will, sir’; and he did not go.

30 “And he came to the second and said the same thing. But he answered and said, ‘I will not’; yet he afterward regretted it and went.

31    “Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said, “The latter.”

 1 John 1:9, If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

 2 Timothy 2:25, with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth.

 Acts 17:30, Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all everywhere should repent.

 1 Thessalonians 1:9, For they themselves report about us what kind of a reception we had with you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve a living and true God.

 Romans 7:20, But if I am doing the very thing I do not wish, I am no longer the one doing it, but sin which dwells in me.

21     I find then the principle that evil is present in me, the one who wishes to do good.

22 For I joyfully concur with the law of God in the inner man,

23 but I see a different law in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind, and making me a prisoner of the law of sin which is in my members.

  24     Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from the body of this death?
