1 John 4:17, By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because as He (Jesus) is, so also are we in this world.
Ephesians 4:12, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ.
Ephesians 4:13, until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.
Ephesians 14, As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming;
15 but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ,
16 from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.
1 Corinthians 5:7, Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened. For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed.
1 Corinthians 5:9, I wrote you in my letter not to associate with immoral people;
10 I did not at all mean with the immoral people of this world, or with the covetous and swindlers, or with idolaters, for then you would have to go out of the world.
11 But actually, I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he is an immoral person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler — not even to eat with such a one.
John 17:13, But now I come to You; and these things I speak in the world so that they may have My joy made full in themselves.
John 15:11, These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.
John 17:14, I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
1 Peter 2:9, But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
John 17:17, Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.
John 16:13, But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.
Luke 16:15, And Jesus said to them, “You are those who justify yourselves in the sight of men, but God knows your hearts; for that which is highly esteemed among men is detestable in the sight of God.
John 17:18, As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.
John 17:20, I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word;
21 that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.
22 The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one;
23 I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me.
1 Corinthians 13:13, But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.
John 17:23, I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me.
John 13:34-35, A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.

I wonder if you will join with me and faithfully pray that our church will measure up to the church God wants us to be…
- A church that preaches God’s Word in fullness and truth.
- A church that administers the sacraments in a biblical manner.
- A church that practices discipline when needed.
- A church overflowing with true joy.
- A separated people who recognize their call to holiness.
- A people rooted in the truth.
- People who are not afraid to go and tell others about Jesus ¾ next door or around the world.
- A group of people unified with one purpose: to do God’s will.
- A people who love and are loved because they love like Jesus.
